Seasonal Sips
As we enter a new season, the Cherry French 75 is a great option for that in between weather time. This cocktail is the epitome of a light sweater over a skirt-- comforting while still being flirty. And with cherries signifying the end of the fall season, our recipe is the perfect sip this season.
What is a Cherry French 75?
You may have heard of the French 75. This older brother cocktail is made with gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, and sparkling wine. Our recipe kicks it up a notch by replacing simple syrup with the syrup found in a jar of maraschino cherries. This will give your cocktail that crave worthy cherry flavor in a cheery shade of pink. But don’t let the color fool you, this cocktail isn’t overly sweet making it perfect for a crowd.
The taste walks the line of refreshing, tart, and sparkling. Shaken and served ice cold, the Cherry French 75 is a party in a glass.
