Jazmyn Simon and Dulé Hill’s recent “Baby, BBQ & Booze” baby shower was an unforgettable affair in Malibu, CA. From adorable décor to delicious eats to plenty of booze, this baby shower was totally baby and adult friendly!
The co-ed event was pulled off by a couple of our favorites—produced by Be Inspired PR and planned by Victoria Ann Events—so clearly, the details were on point! Signature cocktails inspired by the couple’s favorite boozy drinks were passed with custom printed cocktail napkins by For Your Party (yours truly), and frozen treats like popsicles and handmade ice cream sandwiches by The Wild Posy were available at the cutest ice cream stand ever.
With a celeb-heavy guest list, including Empire co-stars Trai and Grace Byers, The West Wing co-star Martin Sheen, and Dreama Walker and Mekhi Phifer, AND such fab décor, food and drinks, it’s a good thing Jenny Quicksall was on hand to document the day with gorgeous photos! Jazmyn and Dulé were truly surrounded by their nearest and dearest as they anticipate the arrival of the biggest up-and-coming star in their eyes: their son!
The venue was outfitted with long white picnic tables, plenty of big umbrellas for shade and multiple comfy seating areas, so guests were able to totally relax and enjoy the perfect spring weather! Nearby, the super cute onesie decorating station beckoned guests' creativity, and gave Jazmyn and Dulé a stack of onesies personally decorated by their friends to dress their little dude in!
From their precious IG official announcement, and now with such a sweet baby shower, it’s clear that their baby boy is going to be well loved! Jazmyn and Dulé are building a life of love together, and this little guy is already making it all that much more sweet.
